Maddalena, also a writer, spent the past two years developing with RED ARROW STUDIOS INTERNATIONAL the female centric TV drama SOLE ROSSO, a series about immigration from women\u2019s point of view in California in early 1900.
\nShe is also the creator and writer of the environmental crime series Houston, set in Northern Italy and the dark comedy \u201cSorry about the Weather\u201d with Ri Versteegh.<\/p>\n

While still a teenager, Maddalena studied with Susan Strasberg in Rome. She quickly landed her first role, playing opposite Rupert Everett in Michele Soavi\u2019s feature CEMETARY MAN and began a national tour of THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK in the title role. Furthering her studies, Maddalena earned a Master\u2019s Degree in acting and directing from Emilia Romagna Teatro, she continued her career as an actress in Rome and Milano.<\/p>\n

Maddalena would go on to found Racconti di Scena in Italy, a successful theater and event production company. For her work, she has been awarded best director in Compagnie Bresciane al Teatro S. Chiara. Maddalena is also the creator and artistic director of Shakespeare in Citta\u2019, an international festival inaugurated in 2008 in Brescia.
\nIn 2012, Maddalena was invited by Academy Award winning actor MARTIN LANDAU to become one of the foreign finalists at the prestigious Actors Studio in Los Angeles where she became a lifetime member in 2015.<\/p>\n

Maddalena finished shooting \u201c When the mist clears \u201c in 2020 where she plays the leading role of Claudia and she\u2019s signed to be part of the British tv series \u201c The Studio\u201d in 2021.<\/p>\n

Maddalena was born in Savona and raised on her grandparent\u2019s vineyard in Tuscany. Diplomata all’ERT, la sua prima grande passione \u00e8 il teatro, che la porta a fondare Racconti di Scena, una compagnia teatrale con sede a Brescia di cui \u00e8 direttrice artistica e per cui ha curato la regia di numerosi spettacoli.<\/p>\n

Trasferitasi negli USA, nel 2013 il premio Oscar Martin Landau la invita come finalista al prestigioso Actors Studio di Los Angeles, del quale diventa membro a vita nel 2015.<\/p>\n

Maddalena unisce alla sua attivit\u00e0 di attrice e regista, quella di scrittrice per il cinema. Ha creato tre serie televisive negli ultimi cinque anni: Sole Rosso, ambientata in California all’inizio del 1900 in sviluppo con Red Arrow Studios; Sorry about the Weather una dark comedy tra L’Italia e la Svezia scritta con Ri Versteeg, e il thriller con tema ambientale Houston per l’Italia.<\/p>\n
